Year 7In Year 7 and 8 students are taught in mixed gender and mixed ability groups.
Activities covered in Year 7 include:
- Invasion Games: football, hockey, rugby, netball, basketball.
- Net & Wall Games: badminton, tennis, table tennis.
- Striking & Fielding: cricket, rounders, softball.
- Gymnastics and Dance.
- Athletics Activities: Track & Field.
- Outdoor & Adventurous: orienteering.
- Health Related Fitness.
Year 8
Year 9In Year 9 students can opt into a group that allows them to pursue their personal interests in sport. There is an option of a GCSE PE/Cambridge National group in preparation for choosing one of these courses at Key Stage 4. This group will cover some of the theory elements from the Key Stage 4 courses along with the sports and activities they will cover as part of the Key Stage 4 courses. The other two groups are based on the competitive nature of the students, allowing them to participate with like minded students.

More competitive:

- Striking & Fielding: cricket, rounders, softball.
- Athletics Activities: Track & Field.

Year 10In Year 10 and 11 students are taught in mixed ability, mixed gender groups. They are grouped by their competitive nature so that they can perform alongside like minded peers in activities they are likely to engage in once they have left statutory education.

Activities covered include:
- Invasion Games: football, hockey, rugby, netball, basketball, Gaelic football, handball, lacrosse, ultimate Frisbee.
- Net & Wall Games: badminton, table tennis.
- Striking & Fielding: cricket, rounders, softball.
- Outdoor & Adventurous: orienteering.
- Health Related Fitness.
- Athletics Activities: Track & Field.
