KS3 & 4 Science Club has been running every Wednesday after school, for the past 6 weeks. Students were invited to sign up for the sessions they were interested in, including; rocket making, fruit DNA extraction and fire writing to name but a few.  Last night’s activity was burning metals in oxygen – see the pictures of students lifting the lid of heated metals to allow oxygen in.  Next was an impressive display of acetone being burnt to measure the speed of fire!
